You Just Made That Awkward!
Who is looking? Who is listening? Some thoughts about showing etiquette:

How exciting is it when you finally get to start making appointments to see houses with your Favorite Realtor? Finally!! After all of the waiting for the pre-approval letter, and checking out listings online, it is time.
There are a few pointers for you to keep in mind as you start your adventure. Today’s technology is ever changing and more and more home-owners have security systems with cameras. There are cameras in the doorbells, on the sides of the house, on inside the house, etc., and many times they can pick up your AUDIO as well as visual.
Be careful about what you say. This is important, not only for the obvious reason of not wanting to offend a seller with a comment about a decorating style or lack thereof. This is important if you LOVE the house as well. You don’t want to hurt your ability to negotiate an offer. If you go on and on about how much you want the house and are willing to pay more than the asking price for it…that just might be the outcome that comes back in a counter offer.
You might think you are the one looking when you are at a showing, but the reality is the seller may be listening and looking at you!!
