SEWER LINE

The importance of a sewer line inspection can’t be overlooked, especially in older homes.  In the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene areas we find many homes are still being serviced by a type of sewer line pipe called Orangeburg (here is more detailed information).

 

We see most orangeburg lines are in need of replacement today.  As a buyer, you may want to have that done by a seller, as the cost can go as high as $10,000.  That isn’t a surprise you want after moving into your new home.  

 

A sewer line test costs approximately $100-$150 and is well worth it, to avoid the headache of problems down the road due to a sewer line issue.
